Charles MacPherson Associates (CMA) was retained in March 2010 by Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, India to train its team of 31 butlers. As Taj Hotels prepares for the launch of the historic Falaknuma property for May 2010, a onetime guesthouse of the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad, Mehboob Ali Khan, it was imperative that its butler team be trained to the exceptionally high standards of the luxury hotelier and its discerning clientele.
Because the 31-member butler department is newly minted, it was determined that an upgraded version of Butler 101 would meet Taj’s objectives for Falaknuma Palace.
Hotel Butler 101 has been designed for Hotels that either seek to set up Butler Departments or those properties that would like its butlers to refresh and upgrade their skills. Hotel Butler 101 teaches all the basic skills required for a hotel to have an expertly run butler department.
