Seeking an independent, experienced Estate Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of three properties. The principal property is in Toronto, the second is a weekend residence just outside of the Toronto area, and the third property used in summer, is in another Canadian province.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a maintenance schedule for each residence
  • Work with trades to ensure that they are maintaining all three houses as required
  • Negotiate trades as needed
  • Keep track of records of household mechanicals and trades such as when work was performed
  • Manage capital costs budget for new construction if needed
  • Manage the maintenance budget for all three residences
  • Ensure that each residence is in optimal condition prior to the Principal’s arrival
  • Prepare and provision each residence in advance of the Principal’s arrival, to include ensuring mechanicals are all in working order, grocery shopping, luggage unpacked
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Occasionally assist with food and beverage service
  • Drive Principal on occasion to appointments, to weekend residence and other destinations as required
  • Manage vehicles

Applicant Qualities:

  • Must be dog friendly as you will be required to transport dogs to other residences as required
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Proactive in thinking and work ethic
  • A team player
  • Able to work from own home office
  • Liaise daily with the personal assistant as required
  • Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Salary is commensurate with experience.
