Position Overview:
The position of Executive Housekeeper will direct the staff of the housekeeping department, coordinate housekeeping personnel and follow through with inspections of designated areas to maintain high standards.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • To maintain and apply hotel operating standards and procedures.
  • Manage departmental administrative tasks and budgets.
  • Regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure high standards and efficiency.
  • Participate and apply management abilities for hiring, training, schedules and performance evaluations.
  • Organize and direct agendas for supervisors and housekeeping crews.
 
 
Applicant Qualities:
  • Minimum secondary school required diploma and or degree in the field of hospitality, National Occupational Certification as a Housekeeping Room Attendant.
  • Experience in supervisory and management positions will be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or private service is a must.
  • A polished professional who is flexible, adaptable and energetic.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Applicants should be experienced with training and hiring of staff.
  • Applicants should have basic accounting, experience with purchasing and inventory management.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States or Canada as applicable.
